I'm Employed!

Le Meato de Professionnel
I took time out of my busy schedule "playing house" to "play dress-up" and bring you this important announcement: I got a job!

I start this upcoming Tuesday at Reynolds & Reynolds as a web designer. The company has about 6,000 employees and is headquartered out of Dayton, Ohio. They do support services for car dealerships all over the U.S. - anything from customer service outsourcing, to inventory tracking software, to key tracking, to making websites. That's where I come in. I'll be the 9th person hired to the team that handles around 6k websites for 4k clients! It's a tall order but I'm really excited! It fits in perfectly with my web development and marketing background. Oh, and the benefits are awesome!

Hey Simon this is your brother Aaron, who has been gracefully allowed for a brief moment to enjoy a single page of the interwebs. The one and only site I am allowed to look at for an infinitesimal span of time is your blog. So feel priveleged, and be thankful to your mother, who has stopped flogging me for awhile so that I could leave you a nifty little message.

Now that we have that cleared up, I'd like to make a remark about Mom's typing style. When I perused her comments, I noticed that she types like a junior high prepubescent girl on AIM. The only thing keeping me from saying something to her about her unprofessional style of typing is the fact that she lacks the quintessential "u" and "JK!" which would drive me overboard.

I digress; I'm writing to say that I'm very happy for you two. It seems you are very content with your engagement, house, dogs, and food.

Oh, and I'm obliged to tell you to come visit me. I miss you. So much. Please come soon.

Love Air-bear

Thank you Aaron.

I'm glad to see your writing skills are much improved over your decision making ability. Your playful diction is only outpaced by your mastery of ennui.

We shall meet again - on the field of battle...or at the wedding - which ever comes first.

Only then shall you reap the sowings of your foul ways and learn to lament your wretched trespasses...

Or something like that.

Either way, cake will be served afterwards.

Love, Simon

You will feel much gaiety to know that my perspicacity in the capacious field of resolution acquisition has exponentially aggrandized.

In Layman's terms; I've realized the errors of my stupid choices in the past month and I'm fine. I fully plan to live up to my potential.

So don't worry bro!

Love, Aaron.

P.S. The fat, awkward, preteen Aaron cannot wait for cake. But don't keep him waiting. Don't let the cake be a lie.

Do what now?

You know you can't just thesaurus in words all willy nilly. There is such a thing as context.

Regardless, this was a trimuph. I'm making a note here: huge success.

In fact, it's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

How are you ? Let me know how the job is going...We took Aaron downtown and took some really great pictures of him...He will have his computer this weekend and will put some of his favorites on his my space...we had a lot fun. Pat and Aaron took some family photos of Amy and Joe today at the park. He did really good considering it was his first time using my awesome camera. Maybe he will have a new hobby besides gaming and sneaking out of the house? :)

Let me know how everything is!

I love you both and take good care of each other...
